WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?

Wondering about the best time for your senior photo session? Whether you're into the vibrant hues of summer or the golden tones of October, these are the choices I'll present to you. Your session's timing is a personal choice, considering your preferences and availability. For prime dates, I suggest booking 2-4 weeks ahead or even earlier if you're eyeing those sought-after slots. Join my VIP list for priority access. The goal is to mirror your personality and vision, capturing the essence of this important moment in your life.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION?

To get started, simply head over to my website and fill out the contact form. Once I receive your information, we'll schedule a call to ensure I'm the right fit for your vision and preferences. This call also gives us the opportunity to discuss any specific ideas or requirements you might have for your session. (If we are close enough, we can meet face to face!)

WHERE WILL THE PHOTO SESSION TAKE PLACE?

 We're a team! I'm located in Hutchinson, KS, and can't wait to discover spots that match your style. Whether you have a place in mind or need ideas, we'll work together to pick the ideal backdrop for your senior photos. I even have a farm location available! Typically, I work within a 30-mile range of Hutchinson. If we go farther, there could be extra travel costs, but we'll chat about this upfront.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR THE SESSION?

Be you. Let your photos reflect your sense of style. If you're a glam girl, bring that...if boho, bring that, etc. Think texture and layers to add dimension and interest. Bring at least one outfit that has a pop of color. Variety....in length on you (not everything too short so we will be able to have you seated) and also variety in terms of however casual to dressy you'd like to be.

Accessories...they are the finishing, polish to a look. It could even be small, minimal pieces, but very important. Plan it out per outfit. I'll bring my "jewelry bar" as well as hats in case we'd like to add those in.

What's the style for my session?

I've got you covered with options – quite literally! Feel free to explore my small but stylish client closet, where you're more than welcome to find something that speaks to your vibe. Additionally, I would love to can discuss fantastic local shops where you can find outfits that perfectly complement the look and feel you're aiming for. Thrift stores are another great option to find fun, unique & affordable styles! Ultimately, the goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and uniquely you during your session. So, whether it's something from my closet or a thrift, local, or boutique find, let's make sure you shine in outfits that capture your essence beautifully!

can i bring props or accessories to THE SESSION?

Yes. You are welcome to bring anything!

How long will my session last?

Sessions last from 1-3 hours depending on the amount of locations we have picked beforehand!

what happens if the weather is bad on the day of the session?

If it is raining or is set to be very windy during our session hours, I may text you that morning to let you know that we need to reschedule. The makeup artists are generally very accommodating when this has to happen. We will look for the closest possible reschedule date at that time.

CAN I BRING FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO THE SESSION?

Yes!

DO YOU OFFER HAIR & MAKEUP SERVICES?

I do not but do have suggestions (My Salon in Hutchinson, KS for hair and make up!)

HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

You can expect your photos to be sent to you in an online gallery via email about 1-2 weeks after your session! You’ll be able to download your high-resolution images straight from your gallery. Then the best part begins - sharing your beautiful images with friends and family!

DO YOU OFFER DIGITAL FILES?

Yes. All packages come with a certain number of digital images and you do have the option to upgrade the album for an additional fee of $150.

WHAT MAKES YOUR SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES UNIQUE?

I am a very simple & laid back photographer. Together we will work ahead of time to figure out all the details of the shoot date so the day of can be a breeze!

CAN YOU HELP ME WITH POSING AND GUIDANCE DURING THE SESSION?

Yes. I will provide you with a Pinterest board of poses and moving poses to prepare you for what to do with your hands and body! I will 100% guide you and direct you with posing. You will feel like a pro when we are finished!

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE SESSION?

I will send you a detailed digital guide and address all the things!

CAN I POST THE PHOTOS TO SOCIAL MEDIA?

Yes. I just ask that you do not change colors, add filters, or do anything to the files I send you. I put a lot of hard work into my work. I also ask that you tag me when posting them on social. It is such a compliment and helps others know about my business!
